Out of shape

I’m woefully out of shape, I won’t pretend otherwise. In my previous position, I was always on the move and lifting/carrying ladders, tools, equipment etc. Since I came inside to work at a desk, I’ve slowly tacked on the pounds. It doesn’t help either that my wife is pregnant. :p

So, I’ve started to seriously watch what I eat and begin to excercise. My general routine includes pushups, lifting weights and jogging/walking. I’m trying to find a way to get my abdomen in shape, but doing situps is incredibly difficult right now.

My first day of jogging was fun. I managed to go for an entire block and walked 3. For two days after, I was hurting!

Thanks to lifehacker, I’ve found a site that gives examples of work outs that can be done with little to no equipment. Here’s hoping for a slimmer me. 🙂
